NBSC HOLDS MSP AND REVIEW TO BOOST ISO 9001:2025 READINESS
Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) held Expanded Executive Meetings on May 22 and 29, 2026, to review the Management System Policy (MSP) and System Controls Procedures (SCP) in preparation for the upcoming ISO 9001:2015 Stage 2 audit. Led by College President Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, Ed.D., CESE, the meetings aimed to deepen the understanding of the institution’s directors and office heads of the Quality Management System (QMS) and to reaffirm NBSC’s commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
The discussions centered on a comprehensive review of the MSP, including the key processes, standards, and SCPs that guide college operations. Participants revisited the purpose and value of Internal Quality Audits, assessed priority risks, and examined existing mechanisms for monitoring and achieving quality objectives. Each office also presented its standard operating procedures (SOPs) to check consistency with QMS requirements and identify areas for refinement.
All office heads attended via Zoom and actively contributed to the discussions, raising operational concerns, sharing best practices, and agreeing on follow‐up actions to further strengthen system implementation. The inputs gathered during the meetings will be used to refine the MSP, SCP, and office‐level SOPs, supporting NBSC’s readiness for the external ISO 9001:2015 audit and its ongoing drive to improve services for students and stakeholders.
